RECK at Spring Forward Aarhus, Denmark by Lars Kjaer Dideriksen

Spring Forward is back from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 April 2017 in Aarhus (Denmark) presenting 20 performances, a live stream with exclusive content and lively debates.

As part of Springbuck, a space for critical response and reflection on dance, RECK was reviewed by Asterόpe “Tia” Chatzinikola and Donald Hutera.

The reviews and articles written by participants of Springback Academy during Spring Forward each year form the basis of this new approach to curating quality dance journalism online.

” The ensemble’s gang-like bond and herculean attitude transformed me into a fully energetic being, now ready to join this raw, brawny tribe — if they’d let me.”
Asterόpe “Tia” Chatzinikola

RECK at Spring Forward Aarhus, Denmark by Lars Kjaer Dideriksen

“This impressively musical quintet unleashes jittery, gesturally detailed kinetic patterns at an urgent pace. Their skulking, ape-like postures are balanced by a visceral behavioural precision”
Donald Hutera
